Brisbane Inferno FC is a proudly LGBTQI+-inclusive community football club, run entirely by volunteers. Every dollar of your membership goes straight back into the club: venue hire, equipment and more.
Important: Every player at a Brisbane Inferno soccer session (Social and Indoor) must have an active membership. Below you will find all the information you need to know about our membership model.

Thanks for visiting our website. We love that you have shown interest in joining our Brisbane Inferno soccer sessions and we are very excited to have you on board!
Brisbane Inferno is a volunteer-run club with a heart for the LGBTQI+ community and it’s allies. Since 2016, we have offered a safe space for everyone who enjoys player soccer, whether that’s in a social setting or a more competitive indoor soccer setting. We got you covered.
To allow the best experience for our players, we maintain a Membership Model that contains of two options. Membership is how we pay for venue hire, equipment and everything else that gets us onto the pitch. Every player chips in, so no one person or business carries the costs.
Option 1: Social Membership

It’s easy. Sign up with your contact and emergency contact details, and choose your membership type. It takes a minute, and you’re officially part of the club. Simple as.
Why can’t I just turn up and pay without having a membership?
We get it: turning up, strap on your soccer boots and play a game of soccer is the simplest way to play. But signing up is what lets us look after you. Paying per session is still an option, it just starts with getting a membership first.
- We all share the load. Fees cover field hire and equipment, so the club’s savings can go towards growing the club instead of running the basics.
- We have your next of kin details. Soccer is a contact sport. If someone gets hurt, we need to know who to contact.
- We can share club updates. Events, fixtures, social nights and news go to members, so you don’t miss out.
Short version: Becoming a member takes a minute, and it means we can reach out to you and look after you. It’s our duty-of-care.
Membership year
Memberships run from 1 January to 31 December of each calendar year.

Do I have to be a member to play?
Yes. Everyone who plays soccer with us needs to have an active membership.
Why can’t I just turn up and pay on the day without having a membership?
Because we need your contact details so we can reach you if plans change, your next-of-kin details in case something happens and it’s a way to share club updates. You can still pay per session, it just starts with signing up.
Where does my money go?
Straight back into the club: venue hire, equipment and more.
