On Thursday, 15th July 2021, Brisbane Inferno Football Club held its second annual general meeting. The committee confirmed the minutes from the 2020 AGM, spoke about the club finances, and walked through the President’s report.
The committee called two special resolutions, which are detailed below:
- Incorporate the club – opening doors to many more opportunities.
- Introduce the new module rules, detailing a membership structure and procedures to lay out a platform for the club to operate in the years to come.
There were no objections to these special resolutions, and they were voted in unanimously by all in attendance.
The returning officer, Daniel Lord, then declared that all office bearers and general committee members of the BIFC Committee were vacated and went through all valid nominations for the committee and President roles. There was one candidate for President – Jacob Hendrie, who the members present unanimously voted in. There was one candidate for Secretary – Michael Healey, who the members present unanimously voted in. There was one candidate for Treasurer – Kirsten Lawlor, who the members present unanimously voted in. The committee then reappointed Dan Lord as Public Officer.
The Brisbane Inferno FC Committee was formed.
Questions during general business focused on marketing and strategy, where the President spoke about the opportunities the committee have identified thus far and others to focus on in the coming months.
And the AGM was closed.
Thanks to all who were able to make it; it was great to see you there. We look forward to the next 12 months, working to continue to grow and cement the club’s foundations and for the future and, most importantly, its members.
